Complementary Medicine Practitioner
Growing up in a small city close to Berlin, Germany,
I was introduced to Herbal Medicine, Oriental Medicine and other alternative ways of treating illnesses by my grandmother and mother at a very young age.
At the age of 16, I started my training as a Reiki Healer and in Massage therapy.
In March 2009 I moved to London and started working for a reputable Lifestyle Salon and Spa in Wimbledon.
In 2010 I travelled to India where I stayed for about two months. I lived in an ashram and learned everything about the Art of Yoga. Qualified as a Yoga Teacher I came back to London but was intrigued by the peace and gratitude that the Indian culture had to offer.
I started studying Ayurveda (Dipl.), Homeopathy (BSc and Lic.) and Acupuncture (Cert.) which transformed my life completely. Due to my interest in natural health systems, I am currently doing an MSc in Advanced Complementary Medicine.
I used to suffer from acne and tried everything available on the market including antibiotics and benzoyl peroxide which only worked as long as I took them (I don`t even want to start with the side effects).
Treating myself with alternative ways made my skin clear up and showed me that healthy skin comes from within.
Treatments are available in Southwest London in Wimbledon, Richmond or via Skype. Please contact me for more information.
Why Complementary Medicine?
It can help with
In Ayurveda, the health evolves around the gut. Using holistic modalities such as Homeopathy, Yoga and Ayurveda can help improve digestive ailments.
Due to lifestyle, environmental factors or diet many of us suffer from constant signs of fatigue. A change in old habits can raise the body's vibration and bring a balance in energy levels throughout the day.
Over time the body can get congested with toxins from just daily living. Cleansing the body regularly with gentle yogic and ayurvedic techniques may improve overall vitality.
Ailments of the bladder, prostate or the male reproductive system in general, can be life-changing for many patients. The treatment with complementary medicine can alleviate symptoms and improve life quality.
The female physiology is very complex and can tip out of balance very easily. PCOS, menopause and other ailments can be alleviated with the gentle medicine of Ayurveda or Homeopathy.
Working with the skin for the past 10 years has shown me that there are plenty of reasons why the skin might be imbalanced. Rosacea, Acne or general ageing of the skin can be signs of dysfunctions in the body. These dysfunctions can be regulated with natural medicine without side effects.
